Dr. Miller earned his Baccalaureate in pharmacy from Ferris State University and his Masters and Ph.D. in pharmaceutics from the University of Michigan. He is an expert in transdermal drug delivery and sustained release dosage forms. Dr. Miller’s scientific training and understanding of the physiochemical properties of drugs and excipients provide Keystone and Keystone Pharmacies with a unique expertise beyond what is typically found in compounding pharmacies. Mary PreFontaine received her pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 1992 with high honors. She has completed a fellowship in Functional Medicine and Anti-Aging affiliated with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has been board certified by the Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners as a Health Practitioner Diplomate. She receives periodic advanced training in clinical aspects of women’s health including proper consideration and dosing of menopausal hormone therapy. She considers the triad of physician, patient and pharmacist as critical to determining the best course of therapy for each individual patient.

Larry Curtis Larry Curtis, R.Ph., Owner
Pain & Symptoms Management Expert

Mr. Curtis received his Baccalaurete in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin. After a distinguished career as a formulation expert with The Upjohn Company (now Pfizer, Inc.), he started the first compounding laboratory in Southwest Michigan. His role as advisor to several Hospice agencies draws on many years of experience in pain and symptom management.

Larry Curtis also pioneered our Foreign Travel & Immunization Clinic. Larry has the rare privilege of being able to administer yellow fever immunizations at our Portage Pharmacy location.

Andy Reeves Andy Reeves, PharmD
Compounding Expert

Andy Reeves is well-skilled in the fine art of compounding. He takes great pride and care into customizing dosage forms to fit his patients’ needs. By working closely with both patients and physicians, and with careful monitoring, he help his patients enjoy a better quality of life.

Andy provides compounding services from the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Science.

Beryl Bartkus received her pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University, College of Pharmacy in 1987. She works closely with patients and doctors to provide the best possible care and customer service. As a compounding pharmacist Beryl enjoys the challenge and rewards of preparing specialty medications for each person's (or pet's) unique pharmaceutical needs. Beryl has a strong interest in helping patients and families who deal with the special medical challenges that coincide with autism and other developmental disabilities.
