David J. Miller, R.Ph., Ph.D., FIACP, FACA
Owner and Chief Formulation Scientist
Dr. Miller earned his Baccalaureate in pharmacy from Ferris State University and his Masters and PhD. in pharmaceutics from the University of Michigan. He is an expert in transdermal drug delivery and sustained release dosage forms. Dr. Miller’s scientific training and understanding of the physiochemical properties of drugs and excipients provide Keystone and Keystone Pharmacies with a unique expertise beyond what is typically found in compounding pharmacies. Dr. Miller has been awarded the prestigious recognition as a Fellow of both the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists and the American College of Apothecaries.

Thomas Magnifico, R.Ph., FACA
Pharmacist, Veterinary Compounding Specialist
An alumnus of the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA, Tom’s career in pharmacy has spanned over 30 years and many different aspects of practice, including health systems and retail. Tom’s background in administration and management has given him a quality- and evidence-based approach to providing our patients the best pharmacy services; currently, he is focused on providing high-quality services to our many veterinary patients. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering with the Boy Scouts, and all things Disney.
Mary Heim, R.Ph., FAAFM
Pharmacist, Women's Health Specialist
Mary Heim received her pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 1992 with high honors. She has completed a fellowship in Functional Medicine and Anti-Aging affiliated with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has been board certified by the Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners as a Health Practitioner Diplomate. She receives periodic advanced training in clinical aspects of women’s health including proper consideration and dosing of menopausal hormone therapy. She considers the triad of physician, patient and pharmacist as critical to determining the best course of therapy for each individual patient.

Suzanne Anthony, R.Ph.
Suzanne (Suzi) received her degree from the College of Pharmacy at Ferris State University. She has practiced in retail pharmacy for her entire career, including co- owning her own pharmacy, Fulton Pharmacy, on the west side of Grand Rapids for 20 years. Suzi is committed to providing our patients with the medication information they need to ensure the best therapy outcomes. She is also our MTM (Medical Therapy Management) consulting pharmacist. Boating in the summer months and alpine skiing during the winter are her favorite ways to enjoy our Michigan seasons.
Patient advocacy is particularly important when patients have multiple medications, including some uniquely compounded for them. Educating patients on how/when to take their medications and catching any possible complications or contradictions is the goal of our pharmacist, Suzi Anthony. Watch here to learn more.
Larry Curtis, R.Ph.
Owner and Pain & Symptoms Management Expert
Mr. Curtis received his Baccalaureate in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin. After a distinguished career as a formulation expert with The Upjohn Company (now Pfizer, Inc.), he started the first compounding laboratory in Southwest Michigan. His role as advisor to several Hospice agencies draws on many years of experience in pain and symptom management.
Larry Curtis also pioneered our Foreign Travel & Immunization Clinic. Larry has the rare privilege of being able to administer yellow fever immunizations at our Portage Pharmacy location.
Andrew Reeves, R.Ph.
Partner and Founder of OptiMed Pharmacy, Inc.
Andy Reeves graduated at the top of his class at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in 1993. He has completed the National Pharmacy Cardiovascular Council's Advanced Lipid Service training program and a Consultant Pharmacist Certificate Program. Andy serves as adjunct faculty for Ferris State University College of Pharmacy and is a past recipient of the Preceptor of the Year Award. He is also a strong believer of giving back to the community. As such, he has served as a board member and as the director of pharmacy for the Free Clinic of Kalamazoo and is President of the Southwest Michigan Pharmacists Association. Andy concentrates in Specialty pharmacy, skin care, personalized medicine, anti-aging/preventative regenerative medicine,endocrinology and compounding. By working closely with both patients and providers, and with careful monitoring, he helps his patients enjoy a better quality of life.
Andy owns and provides compounding services from OptiMed Pharmacy, an ACHC accredited specialty pharmacy and partner pharmacy to Keystone Pharmacy. Specialty Pharmacy is the term used to describe a pharmacy that is uniquely qualified to handle certain medications and has designed services to meet the particular needs of patients who take medications to treat complex medical conditions like anemia, cancer, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, among others.
Brandi Grimmer, LPhT, CNC
Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Brandi Grimmer completed her certification as a Nutritional Consultant through Natural Healing college, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor degree in Human Biology. She is a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with over 10 years experience. Brandi believes that total health is dependent on proper diet, exercise, and nutritional supplementation.

Debbie Martinson, LPhT
Compounding Laboratory Manager
Debbie is a Licensed Pharmacy Technician and graduate of Ferris State University, with a BS in Medical Records Administration. She has worked in compounding since 1999, as Laboratory Manager with Keystone Pharmacy since 2004. She completed PCCA's Comprehensive Compounding Course in 2001. She currently oversees the USP Chapter <795> Compliant lab with a staff of seven technicians and is continuously updating policy and procedures to meet PCAB (Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board) standards.
Khaila Allen, LPhT
Director of Quality Assurance
Khaila is a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, with an Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences from Grand Rapids Community College. She joined Keystone Pharmacy in 2012. She then moved into a compounding laboratory technician position and is currently the director of quality assurance for Keystone Pharmacy.
Adam King, LPhT, PRS
Billing, Technology, and Regulation Specialist
Adam is a Licensed Pharmacy Technician serving Keystone’s patients since 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Western Michigan University and an Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Accounting from Grand Rapids Community College. In 2015, Adam obtained certification as a Pharmacy Regulatory Specialist involving over 30 hours of education in pharmacy law. His daily tasks involve managing insurance claims, working with physicians to obtain insurance coverage, maintaining Keystone’s computers, and assisting in regulatory compliance. Adam enjoys hockey, inline skating, and camping.
Marie Woodard DeHoek, Pharmacy Educator
Compounding Lab Services
Marie promotes our pharmacy to health care providers and patients through several initiatives. She works with West Michigan prescribers to promote compounded medication prescribing when other treatments fail. She plans our advertising, marketing campaigns, educational seminars and speaking opportunities for our pharmacists. A loyal fan of Davenport University where she completed her BBA in Marketing/Management. Marie and her husband like hiking, biking, snowshoeing, XC skiing, & traveling with friends and family.
